1. Kick off meeting (Skopje, FYR Macedonia)

Kick off seminar is part of Capacity Building Activities within the project DIVE in Social Entrepreneurship and it was host by applicant organization in Skopje, FYR Macedonia. It provided the representatives of participating organizations opportunity to start to plan the activities, to review the division of tasks and responsibilities and other aspects of the project. Each organization was represented at the seminar by 1 representative and during the seminar was organized press-briefing for announcement of the project. All the representatives reviewed the tasks and the responsibilities of the partners during the whole project. On the kick off meeting were also defined the dates about all the mobility activities that follow (the seminar, training courses, study visit, job shadowing and the evaluation meeting).
This kick off meeting was also the base of the next phase of the project - Local Research Studies.

2. Local research

This activity is also part of Capacity Building Activities. Main aim of this period is to deeper explore the conditions in participants' realities and gather information that will be used as base for the mobility activities. During this period each partner is responsible to conduct local research study tackling the issue of social entrepreneurship including aspects of cross sector cooperation, challenges and obstacles that different stakeholders find appealing in the process of fighting youth unemployment and establishing social enterprise. This activity is good for better understanding of realities related to social entrepreneurship in participantís countries, mapping of potential partners in the participating countries done, level of public awareness on the project aims and goals raised.

The Local Research Studies will be implemented by:

a) 3 focus groups. Each group will involve 20 participants representing civil sector, business, local authorities, youth;
b) 100 questionnaires targeting young people including unemployed youth with aim to explore their perspective on the issue of social entrepreneurship;
c) 10 deep interviews with social entrepreneurs with aim to identify essential elements for developing social enterprise.
After conducting these activities each organization will prepare and publish report in English and main communication language of the country. Reports will be presented during seminar and spread online through partner networks.

3. Seminar (Iasi, Romania)

Seminar focusing on the issue of cross sector cooperation and role of various actors. Main aim of the seminar is to strengthen understanding of different stakeholders on the need of cross sector cooperation and support sharing lessons learned across sectors in the process of creating supportive environment for social entrepreneurship. During the sector will be also presented and discuss findings from local researches and the participants will have also an opportunity to increase their knowledge of elements such as design thinking or human centred approach that are essential for development social enterprises.

4. Training Course I (Florina, Greece)

Training course will focus on developing competencies of these working with youth (youth workers, active youth leaders) to realize high quality activities giving young people an opportunity to develop competencies needed for development their enterprises. Through the training course the participants will share practices from their countries enabling young people to develop set of competencies needed to establish and run enterprises.

5. Training Course II (Istanbul, Turkey)

Training course will focus on staff members of the organizations (youth workers, project managers, coordinators) who are actively involved in preparing new project proposals in area of entrepreneurship, creating partnerships with partners representing different sectors. Key focus of the training course will be to develop the competencies of the participants to effectively work with other stakeholders, include them in the organization activities, create quality project activities and through them increase interaction between civil sector and business/local authorities.

6. Study Visit (Sofia, Bulgaria)

Main aim of the study visit is to provide the participants representing different sectors an opportunity to explore work and projects of several non-governmental organizations, local authorities or business at the ground. Study visit will be an opportunity to explore real life examples of fighting youth unemployment by social entrepreneurship. Study visit will be also a chance to exchange practices with visited partners and support creating new network and developing ideas for future projects.

7. Job shadowing (in all participating countries)

Main aim of job shadowing activities is to provide the participants an opportunity to learn from good practices directly on the place and have possibility to network with stakeholders coming from other country, brainstorm ideas for future development their social enterprises. Project will include more shadowing activities. Each activity will take 5 days, excluding travel days, it means one working week. Participants of job shadowing will be selected by each organization reflecting the aims and goals of each organization, their future plans and needs, interests of the participants.

8. Evaluation Meeting (Krusevo, FYR Macedonia)

The meeting will open the evaluation phase of the project and provide an opportunity to all participating organizations to meet up, reflect on the project activities and discuss possibilities for future cooperation. Evaluation meeting will be host by Youth Alliance Krusevo, in FYR Macedonia.
